On Stage 5/10- Jeni Varnadeau

jeni-varnadeau

Shockingly red hair.  That’s the first impression. But it falls into the background once you’re wrapped inside the singer/songwriter’s infectious brand of pop rock. “I have so much fun connecting with an audience,” Varnadeau muses. “I feel honored when something I’ve gone through can touch someone and I can see their responses right then and there during a live performance. It starts this exciting chain reaction of interaction with my audience. I love connecting with my fans in that way.”

Her rock/pop style with fun alternative nuances speaks of life, love, hope, dreams, and freedom in an honest and real way. This potent musical mixture has led the five-foot tall bundle of kinetic energy to write her own songs, tour year-round in the U.S. and Western Europe, and also run a non-profit organization that empowers teen girls. An impressive list of accomplishments has followed as well: six albums, major national tours, and six top-ten radio hits (including a record-breaking number one single). Her current album, SOMETHING CHANGED is distributed through Go Global in the US, and through her record label in the UK, Authentic Media. She recently began recording her newest album this summer in Helsinki, Finland.
