Public Works Day 5/18: Sold Out!

This weekend at the Chattanooga Market looks to be another great one, with well over a hundred booths (including several new vendors) offering their hand-crafted, locally-produced items for sale direct to you!

The Chattanooga Public Works Department will be our featured attraction, and they will be showcasing their heavy equipment throughout the facility all afternoon; I can’t tell you how many kids (young and old alike) are looking forward to seeing the Big Toys used to keep our city in working order.

The heavy equipment scheduled to be on-site includes Vac Trucks, Automated Garbage Trucks, Paint Machines, Scissor Lifts, Speed Vans, Forestry Buckets, Grade Alls, Street Sweepers, Mini Excavators, TV Trucks, Knuckle Booms, Work Zone materials and the always-popular Dump Trucks. Various demonstrations will take place just outside the First Tennessee Pavilion throughout the day to demonstrate the massive power of these vehicles, and kids will receive hard-hats courtesy of the Public Works staff!
