April and Ruthanne Mitchell fabricate original sawn, etched, handforged, and patinated silver, copper, bronze and brass pendants and earrings. We will continue to create unique, one of a kind jewelry designs incorporating more traditional components such as pearls, semi-precious stone beads, glass, shell, leather, and silk. It all began in 1992 with one business, an art gallery located across from the Hunter Museum of American Art. I love to wear jewelry that blends with the clothing that I wear every day. I create unique gemstone jewelry creations using gemstone slabs, chunks, and even faceted stones. Nothing is ever duplicated. I keep my prices very affordable. Cancer awareness jewelry is also available, with a part of the proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of my mother.

Julie Belle Designs began in 2004 with a few scarves and a lot of ideas. Today it has grown into a larger business with 100% silk scarves, pillows, cotton bandanas, and other silk accessories. The designs are continuously changing as ideas evolve into more sophisticated dye techniques. Nature, fashion, and texture-building all play a part in the design of the dyed accessories. It is a great joy of mine to bring the beauty of color, texture, and pattern to others!
