April and Ruthanne Mitchell fabricate original sawn, etched, handforged, and patinated silver, copper, bronze and brass pendants and earrings. We will continue to create unique, one of a kind jewelry designs incorporating more traditional components such as pearls, semi-precious stone beads, glass, shell, leather, and silk. Bluff View Bakery and Rembrandt’s Roasting Company are family-owned businesses located in Bluff View Art District specializing in fresh, locally made, artisan products. From pastries and house roasted coffees to hand-dipped chocolates and artisan baked breads, Bluff View Art District strives to provide a unique experience with each visit. It all began in 1992 with one business, an art gallery located across from the Hunter Museum of American Art. Due to the demand for quality, local goods we have grown into an entire District, complete with Tony’s Pasta Shop & Trattoria, Back Inn Café, Rembrandt’s Coffee House, Bluff View Inn, River Gallery, an herb garden, our very own bakery, chocolate kitchen and pastry kitchen as well as our on-site roaster Rembrandt’s Roasting Company.

I love to wear jewelry that blends with the clothing that I wear every day. I create unique gemstone jewelry creations using gemstone slabs, chunks, and even faceted stones. Nothing is ever duplicated. I keep my prices very affordable. Cancer awareness jewelry is also available, with a part of the proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of my mother.

Julie Belle Designs began in 2004 with a few scarves and a lot of ideas. Today it has grown into a larger business with 100% silk scarves, pillows, cotton bandanas, and other silk accessories. The designs are continuously changing as ideas evolve into more sophisticated dye techniques. Nature, fashion, and texture-building all play a part in the design of the dyed accessories. It is a great joy of mine to bring the beauty of color, texture, and pattern to others!
