The region’s most family-friendly Oktoberfest returns to Chattanooga for a weekend full of music, food, tradition, and fun — with a local twist. Chattanooga Oktoberfest® blends classic German sights, sounds, and flavors with the creative spirit of our city for a can’t-miss fall celebration.

Enjoy German-inspired eats like brats and pretzels, a lively biergarten featuring dozens of local and seasonal craft brews, traditional Oompah music, shopping with local artists, and — of course — a chicken dance or two. With live entertainment, interactive contests, and activities for all ages, there’s truly something for everyone.

Don your lederhosen or dirndl and don’t miss the beloved Mr. & Ms. Chattanooga Oktoberfest® Contest, an applause-based, just-for-fun tradition that’s open to all ages. This “see and be seen” event takes place Saturday evening and is always a crowd favorite.

Chattanooga Oktoberfest® is a FREE, must-attend celebration for locals and visitors alike — German attire highly encouraged!

Chattanooga Bluegrass:

This is what a perfect Sunday feels like. 🎶🍻 Join us at the Chattanooga Market for the ultimate mix of live music, local eats, cold brews, and peak-season produce — the kind of day that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

Expect a toe-tappin’, banjo-playin’, string-singin’ blend of country, folk, and bluegrass, featuring some of our region’s hottest acts performing live on the Sunday Funday Stage. With two free performances throughout the day, you’ll have plenty of chances to dance, sway, and soak up the sounds.

Come for the music, stay for the Market — it really doesn’t get much better than this.
