With the end of Summer (and hopefully the heat), Chattanooga Market organizers are preparing for a series of Fall events that locals and visitors won’t want to miss. Beginning with the last Sunday of the month, September 27th, the season kicks off with an old-fashioned Fall Festival feel. Pumpkins, sweet treats, fall produce and live music from Taylor Charles Levin and Justin Moyer will get folks in the mood for cooler temps, football and chili.
October will roll in with several headliner events:
Scenic City Wings® - Sunday, October 4th Scenic City Wings at the Chattanooga Market brings together Chattanooga’s best wing slingers serving up their most mouthwatering creations for a great cause. Patrons can buy a $20 ticket to sample from six local restaurants and caterers (that’s 12 wings) to vote on their favorite. There will be a judge’s vote as well. From tangy to tear-inducing, these teams take their wings seriously and are cooking up not only for bragging rights, but also for a great cause – all ticket sales will directly benefit the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. New this year, the heat gets turned up even more with “In the Hot Seat”— a live, hot-wing interview series featuring local celebrities and personalities. Patrons can watch as the celebrities answer questions while taking on progressively spicier wings. It’s equal parts hilarious, uncomfortable, and can’t-miss entertainment. In the hot seat this year will be Gold Olympian, Olivia Reeves and local artist, Genesis the Greykid.
Best of all, Scenic City Wings benefits the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, helping support our neighbors and fight hunger across our region. Come eat wings, laugh a little, sweat a lot, and support a great cause.

Chattanooga Oktoberfest®- Saturday and Sunday, October 17/18th
The Chattanooga Market presents the 25th Annual Chattanooga Oktoberfest®, a two-day festival featuring German accents such as a live Oompah music, cultural food offerings and an expanded selection of beer, food and fun. It is a must-attend festival for locals and tourists alike every year and remains a FREE event. Festive German attire highly recommended!
