Holiday Market

Knoxville Holiday Market

Big news! We’re bringing the holiday magic to Knoxville for the very first time!

A new holiday tradition will take place beginning this year at the Knoxville World’s Fair Exhibition Hall. The Knoxville Holiday Market is set to take place the first two weekends of December: 6 & 7 and 13 & 14. This festive event features over 150 local and regional makers, from artists and food artisans to decorations and handmade products for sale just in time for the holidays. It is free to attend.

The event is produced by the well known, Chattanooga Market, rooted in neighboring Chattanooga, Tennessee. Organizers saw a need for a makers focused market in Knoxville and are excited to get to know the community. Many of the current Chattanooga Market vendors are from Knoxville and nearby cities with dozens of new artists and makers joining in the Knoxville festivities. “It’s always been part of our desire to expand and showcase regional makers to other Tennessee communities who share our passion,” says Chris Thomas, Chattanooga Market Board Member and Advisor.  The well known Chattanooga Market held in downtown Chattanooga is closed for the winter months. It is set to reopen late April, per usual.

The vendors for the Knoxville Holiday Market were meticulously vetted for authenticity (there are no third party sales allowed), quality, and uniqueness. Shoppers can expect jewelry, woodworking, holiday decorations, apparel, toys, fine art, body care products, and artisan foods. It’s an opportunity to shop for unique gifts while supporting small business makers in an atmosphere that will bring the spirit of the season.

The Knoxville Holiday Market is free to attend. Hours are Saturdays: 10am-5pm and Sundays: 11am-5pm. December 6/7, 13/14 at the Knoxville World’s Fair Exhibition Hall.
